COE Prediction - October 2008 1st Bidding Exercise

Dealers are likely to get more orders with the 3-week elapse from the last bidding exercise but the credit crunch faced by many U.S. and European banks will cause even motorists here to be jittery about buying big ticket items. On the other hand, short-term interest rates are raising so motor loans may cost more in future.

To buy or not to buy? That is the question.
If there is no need, then you should forget about it.
(haha ... that is how bad my poetic writing gets)

Prediction on September 30:
Category A: $13,000-14,000
Category B: $14,000-15,000

Verdict on October 8:
Category A: $13,801
Category B: $14,400
