Still No 'YEA' - LTA responded to the Straits Times that the change to allow fancy plates were still being considered but without any target date. Thus, motorists keen to have their personalised number plates will have to continue to wait in vain.
What will be my pick with the current system? It is coming in the next series SKX 8 Y. My most ideal personalised plate is SKX 1 Y (my blogging moniker) but the computed suffix is R, not Y. You can check the computed suffix with this tool Vehicle Registration Suffix.
