Stopping in Time

I can feel the chill down my spine when I saw the burned wreckage over last Friday's news about this serious accident on the Malaysia's North-South Highway. It is extremely dangerous to be following too closely when travelling fast on the highway. Based on the chart above, you should always keep a safe distance and scan ahead for road hazard. Note that there is also the thinking time needed before your foot reacts by stepping hard on the brake pedal.

While it is also important to maintain two essential components of your ride - the tyres and the brakes, the most crucial part of the ride is the DRIVER. You control the ride so your ability to stay alive depends largely on yourself.
